Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna welcomed their newborn daughter into the world on Nov. 10 — and the couple couldn’t be happier!

Early Thursday morning, Chyna, 28, arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for a cesarean section. At 9:18 a.m., the expectant mother gave birth to Dream Renée Kardashian, who weighed 7 lbs., 5 oz., according to E! News.

“Rob was so supportive of Chyna. He was encouraging her and being so sweet,” a source tells PEOPLE of the new father, who was in the delivery room at the time of his daughter’s birth alongside grandmothers Kris Jenner and Tokyo Toni. “Everyone was so touched by how emotional he got.”

Although the couple, who got engaged in April, have faced multiple rough patches throughout their almost yearlong relationship — including fights during filming ofRob & Chyna and Chyna kicking Kardashian out of their home — the new addition is bringing joy and happiness to their growing family.

“Rob and Chyna are so happy. They’re in a great place,” the source says, and adds, “The plan is for the baby to come back to Chyna’s — Rob will be there too. He is already in love with his daughter.”

After meeting the littlest addition to the Kardashian family, the new father shared his love for Dream and her mom in a heartfelt Instagram post.

On Thursday, E! confirmed that an hourlong baby special will premiere Dec. 18.
