Millennials, also known as Generation Y has been the strongest force we have seen. In order to become a millennial your age is not a factor But your, youthful spirit is mandatory. In 2020 we haven’t seen a generation this assertive since The Martin Luther King Marches in Washington D.C. As every African American may agree, we no longer will have our rights violated, no more police brutality, no more racism and no more discrimination. Millennials believe life isn’t about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself. Strong, intelligent determined, focused, and is the key in these millennial times.
Meet Brockton High School’s Past Vice president of the African American Club. From 2000-2005, “Rocky” Known as Rochel Pamphile, has been running after school organization for years in order to bring awareness to the treatment of the African Americans in the community. The City of Brockton is known for being a minority’s playground due to the fact they have the most minorities in the city amongst the other cities surrounding them. Brockton is a city in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States; the population is 95,708 as of 2019. Brockton, along with Plymouth, is one of the two county seats of Plymouth County.[2] Brockton is the seventh largest city in Massachusetts and is sometimes referred to as the "City of Champions", due to the success of native boxers Rocky Marciano and Marvin Hagler, as well as its successful Brockton High School sports programs. The African American Unanimously voted For Mr. Pamphile as Vice president to bring in change tenacity and determination into the organization.

Rochel Pamphile has attended Brockton High school from September 2000 and then graduated in June 2005. After transferring From Avon high school to a bigger high school like Brockton high, this was the main goal for the this young millennial. “Bringing the community together was my main goal” says Rocky, I spent time after school to run this organization and to pass it along after I graduated. We helped people fight abuse, discrimination, racism, police brutality, and brought a group of teenagers that were talented in a networking environment. “When I left Brockton high, I attended Virginia State University {a HBCU} and then transferred to Long Island University to continue my education. I’ve inspired the whole school with this organization and we eventually took it to the public and marched for 2 weekends to raise awareness of our cause. We can all agree that Black lives matter but I took a different turn by joining an organization that was less political called THE called DARRC Demilitarize, Account, Reallocate, Reimagine, community coalition. This organization is fairly new as recent as 07/21/2020. After the uproar of violence police brutality and discrimination, I plan to continue to be one of the leaders in Brockton. PERIOD
Currently in the United States, Racial tensions has surfaced the human atmosphere and we are now witnessing a continuing cascade of violence in the African American community. Instead of embracing Black lives Matter, Rocky decided to start a campaign of his own organization entitled THE D.A.R.R.C Coalition. The D.A.R.R.C is considered A new Chapter formed after the Black lives Matter groups impact globally but because they’re concerns and disagreements with what black lives matter believe in and what they have contributed in the violence recently. We decided to start on a clean slate, something brand new and no bad history and that is what the D.A.R.R.C is.Rocky says he’s running to become the vice president of the organization. Currently the senior publicist and leader for the demilitarize section of the group and the head of communications. He sees a seat and he’s making his way to grab it .
