MEDIA-MODE 2020! “The Executive Board “#backtoschool was the theme this year, which took place live on zoom for a two day panel on September 4th 5-6pm EST and September 5th 7-8 pm EST. This year MediaMode dedicated “THE MODE” to College students, high school students or graduates to continue to network and receive any advice for those looking to get into their field of choice. From magazine editors, to producers, bloggers, managers, and even record label executives made a special appearance for all the students who logged into zoom to witness a Grand virtual experience. Media Mode was created by Award Winning publicist Rocky in New York City and this year he celebrates his 3rd successful media mode 2020. Not only did this year have a major impact on the entertainment industry, Media Mode 2020 even had major surprise’s from two dope Recording artist such as “Ghost” and all the way from North Carolina “ livefromcedargrove”. Both rap artist had an exclusive In-studio performance on zoom for media mode 2020. The Panel was scheduled for two days and the panelist such as Datwon Chief & Editor of Vibe Magazine, Trent Pratt- music programmer of Bet, Keke O- of styleyourselfie, Kristen Maldonado of Mtv and Danita from Liveitup Tv show and Bella magazine and MORE. The crowd stayed online anticipating to hear from their favorite executives and to gain advice on how they can continue to grow and develop in their field of choice.
The first panel was over incredible with Trent Pratt from BET Networks as he gave the college students more than expected advice on how to continue expediditing panels and how it lead him to stand out from his peers. Debrah Oh spoke of Hip Hollywood and also gave young black women in college the REAL on what they may face as a dark skinned business women. Meah Barrinington, Founder of TheReelEffect, not only gave us her goals and aspiration, she also continued to inform us on everything else she’s been working on, and what she has coming up futuristically.
Panel two was when everyone had the best time ever! Faith Forward spoke about the ZingoniGroup LLC and how she made a business in real estate. Danita came through dripping with gems on how she continues to grow in the industry. Monica spoke of Pandora and her book “How to be a bad ass boss in corporate America that is on amazon now. Remi jones not only spoke about Remi-Tv she also gave us advice on how she struggled with being bulled and how she used the struggle” to take her career into the legal field. Angel Neal gave us an outstanding “verbal understanding” of her venture as the C.E.O of Disrupshion Magazine. Eventually Michelle Visa of Hiphop-Weekly surprised us with a new career move into Music and Fashion and she may have an album on the way.
Media Mode was not only entertaining it was inspirationalal. Virginia state university and long island university has given media mode 2020 5 stars!
